More new citizens

Jahira from STF is joining us with a full team of 4 (player names jahirat, ngates91904, kbf_apache, ???). Their new nation is located in the jungle on the shore of the Eastern Ocean, beyond Arland and the Duchy of Becca. Their national color is pink.

New Nations in the Realm

We have some new players joining the server.

Davin from STF (player name beni_lava) will be founding a new nation just to the West of the Fire Nation in a mountain towering above the ocean. His team color is Lime Green.

Mary and Erik are also joining us (player names Kawakazi77, erik909) and will be sporting Cyan. Their nation will be East of the Fire Nation, on the ocean, in some mountains.

More details concerning Nation names etc. will be posted when available.

Day's End for the DPRT

  

It appears as though the Democratic People's Republic of Teplin (DPRT) is no more. Early reports are of a brief, but intense power struggle that threatened to tear the communist nation asunder; the details of which remain unknown at this time.

What exactly has emerged from the conflict is unclear, though order has been restored and dissolution of the nation formerly known as the DPRT appears unlikely. At present, the newly proclaimed "Fire Nation" is headed by a shadowy figure known only as the Fire Lord.

The King of Alkhar has voiced concern over the unrest within the realm, but respects the sovereign borders of the "Fire Nation" and has pledged to stay out of its internal politics as long as no other nations become threatened.

Dissolution of a nation into multiple nations is not allowed by the laws of the realm and would not be recognized by the authorities of the realm itself nor those of other nations. It may well have been knowledge of this fact that drove the warring factions of the DPRT to compromise.

One final note. Reports of religious fanaticism within the "Fire Nation" have reached the World Hub, but are as of yet unconfirmed.

Server Issues

The Minecraft multiplayer authentication servers were down for a several hours yesterday. After disabling online mode on the server we were able to log on again but permissions were broken. I then fixed that and everything was back to normal.

The Minecraft authentication servers are back up and we are back to online mode, though the Minecraft skin server appears to be down at the moment (meaning we're all Steve for the time being). edit: MC Skin server is back up as of 1:00p

General Guidlines

Respect Others' Borders
-Borders are marked out with cobblestone and colored wool. While free travel and exploration of other nations is encouraged, altering blocks, logging, hunting, mining, etc. are not allowed.
-Use the Lockette plugin to secure doors and chests you wish to keep private.

Griefing will not be tolerated!
-First offenses will result in a warning, public shaming, and fines levied against your in-game accounts.
-Second offense will result in banishment from the Realm for a duration of the Admin's choosing.

Make your nation anything you want it to be.
-Within your borders, do what you please.
-Invite up to 3 friends to join your nation and help populate the Realm.
-Participation in the Realm's economy is encouraged but by no means mandatory.
